Given the flawed nature of every individual on planet earth, I’d like to see more discussion surrounding policy than anything else. The Democratic focus on identity politics has become a snake eating its own tail.

What does the whiteness of Bernie or Biden have to do with their actions? Or conversely, what does it matter if a candidate is female, or of colour? I appreciate Biden’s actions were creepy but that has nothing to do with his skin colour.

There are a lot of things taken for granted in this piece.

If there are women of colour with good policy ideas, who are they? What are they doing that’s worthy of presidency? And why does Trumpism need to be defeated?

I wasn’t convinced of much in this piece.
