I wouldn’t call it a free education…I’d call it a discussion. I get critical comments on most of my Medium articles and I try to respond to as many as I can to try to get to the truth of the discussion at hand. Sometimes I’m wrong, sometimes they are, but we both often get a little closer to the truth after these kinds of discussions.

Seeing as most of your articles are about race, and this one was specifically about white politicians, I thought it would be interesting to see why you thought systemic racism persisted despite 8 years of Obama. You didn’t have to respond, and I’d understand if you were too busy, but I don’t really see why you wouldn’t wish to better inform readers about your views?

I think every conversation we have in this life can be impactful, and can change one persons mind, who can then change the mind of another person, and begin an exponential snowball effect of change. Accusing me of being privileged for asking you to expand upon your argument is pretty lame.
