The piece referred to “children who grow up without a father in the home” numerous times. The nuclear family model is optimal, with all other parental models being less ideal. A father not being in the home may not mean he doesn’t exist, but it’s certainly less desirable than if both parents were present in the home. Following this logic, using IVF to conceive on your own is knowingly giving your child a sub-optimal life and an increased tendency toward deviant behaviours.
