Well, the thing about Kavanaugh (to be transparent, as the Atlantic should be) is that the NYT published a hit piece on him, from a girl that admittedly “didn’t remember the events” — which was a tidbit of information they decided to omit from their story. Imagine the effect this had on his family and his children, who once again, were taken through hell so that the news can get some clicks.
The truth is, the Kavanaugh case is unproven and we need to maintain innocent until proven guilty.
You also had RussiaGate, and now UkraineGate, which seem like desperate attempts to overthrow Trump, again, without evidence.
As Democratic candidate Andrew Yang stated, the more you show Trump on the news, the more likely he is to win again. The Democrats are simply trying to bring him down, rather than build themselves up.
What’s the alternative to Trump? Kamala Harris, who has a lengthy history of imprisoning African Americans for cannabis possession? Who puts on an accent when speaking to her black voters?
Or Joe Biden, a man who is so blatantly senile it’s laughable. Remember Joe, 30330? Or how he and his son Hunter commited the REAL Ukraine scandal?
Frankly, yes Trump is hyperbolic, but he legalized hemp, he was the first president to enter his position who was openly gay marriage, (Had Peter Thiel as one of his speakers) and he is pro-marijuana legalisation.
He’s building the wall that Obama and previous Democrats had attempted to do with the Secure Fence Act, and he’s lowered unemployment and black unemployment to its lowest point in history.
He defeated ISIS and the caliphate, while also avoiding a war with Iran.
Trump was also the first president to step foot on North Korean soil, and the first to get Kim Jong Un to speak to foreign journalists. A step forward for diplomacy, undoubtedly.
And to say he doesn’t care about the people on the other side of the aisle? Tell that to Hilary, who called all Trump supporters a basket of deplorables.
I don’t want a “presidential” president like Obama. He promised change, and yet he was the least transparent president in history, while he eroded our privacy. There was a 64 percent growth in electronic spying by the United States government during Obama’s first term, and thousands were killed overseas by his drone strikes.
He scoffed at the potential of legalizing cannabis (youtube it, Bill Maher covers it,) was anti-gay marriage initially, and spread lies about the wage gap and Black Lives Matter which only worsened race and gender relations. And let’s not even get into the mess of ObamaCare.
The media gave Obama a free ride, meanwhile, Trump is the most witch-hunted scrutinized president in memory.
It’s no wonder Trump complains about fake news, because it’s all around us.
You want someone presidential? Well, point to someone who is — not just a snake oil salesman Obama 2.0, I mean someone with real policies, a history of accomplishments, and the strength and tenacity to go fist to fist with Trump.
Until then, Trump is the best US president in a long time.
Would love someone to address the above claims.
