Yes I’m a man, and I’m also a brother and a son and one day I will be a father. I’m also a taxpayer who lives in society. Given that children without fathers are significantly more likely to drop out of school, commit crime and end up in prison, why would we wish this upon them? And if men play such an insignificant role, why is this the case?

I don’t want children to be fatherless, nor do I want more crime in society, or more people needing welfare. I want everyone to have all the tools necessary for success, and that includes having both parents. The real question is, why don’t you?

Also, newsflash, I don’t need specific genitalia to speak on any issues, unless I’m speaking from experience. You can talk about statistics regarding men, just as I can about women. We wouldn’t have science if it weren’t for people exploring notions outside their own experience. Can vegans speak on the welfare of cows, given that they themselves aren’t cows?
